TCoG Data Director Monitor
The TCoG Data Director Monitor is built on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and LS Retail and is designed to monitor the Data Director in a very simple and visual way. Moreover, you can perform regular checks with respect to the size of the databases in the shops.
Features:
- Verification that the connection between headquarters and stores is in working.
As soon as a connection problem is identified between the headquarters and one or more stores, you will receive an e-mail message from the Data Director Monitor. This also means that if there are no connection problems between HQ and the stores, you won't be disturbed by messages and don't have to perform any checks yourself.
- Monitoring the receipt of transmitted data.
The Data Director is responsible for correctly sending and receiving data between headquarters and shops. As soon as the Data Director Monitor detects an error, you will receive an e-mail alert. The timeframe that should be respected by the system is adjustable and may be different for the dispatch from headquarters to store or vice versa. The timeframe has 2 levels: orange and red (e.g.: orange after 1 hour and red after 4 hours. Only at level 'red' the system sends an e-mail alert)
- Verification that the size of the database in the shops leaves enough room to add new data.
In most cases, the databases in the shops do not expand automatically. Because of this, it happens that a package of new information is not received correctly or not received at all. To manage this pro-actively, a new feature will daily monitor the size and use of the database in the shop. If a problem occurs, you will receive a warning by mail, giving you the possibility to expand the store's database in time.
